Fibers go through 1 soak cycle,  1 wash cycle and 2 rinse cycles.  (Includes tumble for all camelid fibers.)

For those fibers that are dense, have high lanolin content or are extra dirty we pre-soak the fiber in 2 cycles prior to washing. The fiber then goes through 2 separate wash cycles and 3 rinse cycles.

For any fiber that does not come clean in original wash cycle.

Roving can be loose in a bag or on bumps. 

Roving is passed through the draw frame once.  Loose in bag only.

Roving is passed through the draw frame once and pulled into a braid. (Wool only)

Batts measure approximately 2' x 4'

For bumps produced to a specific weight

Made from your fiber. Fiber is washed, picked and carded to a cloud then made into dryer balls.

Batts are needle felted into felt sheets on a FeltLoom.

We have a variety of blending fibers available in many colors. You can choose from merino,  romney, alpaca, bamboo, silk, nylon,  Angelina and Firestar fibers. See our Blending fiber page for colors.

 We can process your small fleece, but not all services may be available. We have a minimum charge of $100.00 to process to roving. Please contact us to discuss your options.
